Originally constructed in 1896 to house the Nassau County Trust, the building later transitioned into the Davenport Press printing house in 1924. In 1978, the site was masterfully converted into a restaurant, preserving its deep-rooted architectural legacy.

That working past is still part of every visit. Authentic artifacts from the printing-press era sit beneath exposed wooden ceiling beams, and our warm, exposed-brick dining room is anchored by a large fireplace that sets a timeless, vintage mood. For a drink, our speakeasy-style lounge offers a more intimate place to settle in.

The kitchen serves a traditional American-Continental menu: rich soups like our French onion and seafood bisque, steaks and lamb, and fresh seafood including scallops, salmon and lobster cocktail. Upstairs, our second-floor private dining room hosts catered events and banquets for up to 100 guests, and we're just steps from the Mineola train station.
